I started this painting in Colorado. I was sitting in my side yard loving the clumps of iris springing up all over my yard when I heard an odd sound. Turns out, it was the neighbor\'s exterminator spraying the fence. He sprayed me through the fence. He told me it was a pyrethroid and it was harmless to humans. A week later, I was in the hospital with pneumonia from the contact. I have finally finished the artwork and I am dedicating this one to the education and reduction of ornamental pesticide use.
